Fuel prices Nov 28-Dec 4: Up across the board

PETALING JAYA: Fuel prices will increase across the board from Nov 28 to Dec 4.

The Finance Ministry said that RON97 petrol would be priced at RM1.97 per litre, up by three sen from RM1.94 per litre previously.

The price of RON95 petrol will also increase by three sen from RM1.64 per litre to RM1.67 per litre, while the price of diesel will increase by four sen from RM1.81 per litre to RM1.85 per litre.

"The government will continue to monitor the trends of global crude oil prices and take appropriate measures to ensure the continued welfare and well-being of the people," the ministry said in a statement on Friday (Nov 27).

The weekly fuel pricing mechanism was reintroduced on Jan 5,2019, under the Automatic Pricing Mechanism (APM).

Under this system, fuel prices are announced every Friday and remain in force for one week.
