Budget 2021: Private sector workers, not civil servants, are those most affected by Covid-19, say social media users

PETALING JAYA: Private sector workers should have received more attention from Budget 2021 as they are the ones most affected by the Covid-19 pandemic, say social media users in reaction to the one-off RM600 payment to civil servants from Grade 56 and below.

While many applauded the move, some said that the allocation in Budget 2021 tabled by Finance Minister Tengku Datuk Seri Zafrul Abdul Aziz on Friday (Nov 6) was not comprehensive enough.
