Special Cabinet meeting in Putrajaya meeting over, Barisan MPs head over to PWTC meet


PUTRAJAYA: The special Cabinet meeting chaired by Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin on Monday (Oct 26) has ended.

The meeting ended at about 2pm but none of the ministers stopped to address the media.

Among those seen leaving the Perdana Putra building here were, Foreign Minister Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Hussein, International Trade and Industry Minister Datuk Seri Azmin Ali and Unity Minister Datuk Halimah Sadique.

Hishammuddin said that he is heading to Putra World Trade Centre (PWTC) to attend the Barisan Nasional MPs meeting this afternoon.

The Cabinet met for a special meeting believed to discuss the Yang di-Pertuan Agong's decision to not declare a state of emergency.

Earlier, Prime Minister had also met with Perikatan Nasional and Barisan Nasional leaders.
