PJ cops bust private party, 10 arrested


PETALING JAYA: Police have arrested 10 people suspected of having a party here on Thursday (Oct 22).

"A police team raided a house in Ara Damansara where it was suspected a private party was being held.

"During inspection, a mat with the words 'Texas Holdem' was found, believed to have been used for gambling.

"A straw tube filled with suspected ketamine and four bottles filled with suspected liquid drugs were also seized," said Petaling Jaya OCPD Asst Comm Nik Ezanee Mohd Faisal in a statement on Friday (Oct 23).

He added that all 10 suspects, aged between 27 and 45 years old, tested positive for drugs.

"They have all been remanded for four days," he said.
