PUTRAJAYA: Counter services at Immigration offices throughout Sabah, Selangor, Kuala Lumpur and Putrajaya will be closed following the conditional movement control order (MCO) imposed on these areas.
Immigration director-general Datuk Khairul Dzaimee Daud said the services in Selangor, Kuala Lumpur and Putrajaya will cease from Wednesday (Oct 14) until Oct 27.
Counter services in Sabah Immigration offices will be unavailable until Oct 26.
“This is inline with the enforcement of conditional MCO as announced by the government on Oct 12.
“All Immigration matters and appointments made via our online appointment system (OTS) will be postponed, ” he said on Wednesday.
Khairul Dzaimee said the department’s online services are still available.
“The public are not allowed to be present at these immigration offices with the exception of emergency cases, ” he said.
