GOMBAK: The police have arrested the driver involved in the scuffle at a fast food restaurant in Rawang.

"The driver has been arrested for investigation and he was found to have a mental disability. The investigation is ongoing," said Gombak OCPD Asst Comm Arifai Tarawe when contacted on Thursday (Oct 1).

He added that the fight started when the driver attacked workers at the restaurant.

"The fight involved the driver and two restaurant staff members," he said.

A video of the scuffle on Sept 27 has made its way on social media.

Previously, the police said that a scuffle ensued after a disagreement between the driver and a restaurant worker over the method of payment.

"An in-depth investigation was conducted on the CCTV footage from the location, and the police have reclassified the case under Section 447 and 427 of the Penal code, for destruction of property, as well as Section 160 of the Penal Code for committing affray," added ACP Arifai.
