Burger brawl: Fight at drive-thru of fast food outlet goes viral

GOMBAK: A fight broke out at the drive-thru counter of a fast-food restaurant over a disagreement on the method of payment.

“On Sept 27 at 7.30pm, the 41-year-old victim was making payment at the restaurant in Rawang when he became angry with a staff member for using ‘pay wave’ without his permission.

“The victim also claimed that the worker was rude, raised his voice and had made him wait for a long time. An argument ensued and another man came and punched the victim on the chin,” said Gombak OCPD Asst Comm Arifai Tarawe when contacted on Wednesday (Sept 30).

He added that statements from restaurant workers and witnesses had also been recorded.

A short video of the fight has made its rounds on social media where a scuffle is seen between the victim and several restaurant workers.
