KJ, Azmin dismiss Anwar's claims of having the numbers in Parliament

KUALA LUMPUR: Science, Technology and Innovation Minister Khairy Jamaluddin (pic) has dismissed claims made by Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim that the government is collapsing.

“Just finished the Cabinet meeting. Nothing has fallen or fell,” he tweeted while attaching a picture of the meeting in Putrajaya on Wednesday (Sept 23).

International Trade and Industry Minister Datuk Seri Azmin Ali also flew out a tweet soon after the Opposition leader’s announcement.

“Incorrigible liar and political psychopath,” Azmin wrote, without giving context to his tweet.

In his announcement, the PKR president had said that the current government led by Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin had collapsed due to a lack of majority support in the Dewan Rakyat.

Anwar insisted that he has “formidable, strong and convincing” majority to form a new government during his press conference.
