All 11 Amanah MPs support Anwar, says Mat Sabu

PETALING JAYA: All MPs from Parti Amanah Negara are in support of PKR president Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, says party president Mohamad Sabu (pic).

"As was decided during the Pakatan Harapan presidential council before this, Amanah confirms that all its 11MPs will fully support the leadership of Anwar as the Pakatan president and have given him our trust to form a new government," the party president said in a statement Wednesday (Sept 23).

Mohamad said this in reference to Anwar's announcement claiming that he had the majority support to form the next government.

Earlier, Anwar said that he has a "strong and formidable majority" to form the government.

However, Anwar did not reveal the number of support that he has.
