Wee: Johor MB strives hard to develop state

JOHOR BARU: MCA president Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong has commended Datuk Hasni Mohammad, saying that the Johor Mentri Besar is working hard to develop the state through strategic planning.

Dr Wee said he visited the Mentri Besar at his office yesterday where they spent about 70 minutes discussing various matters.

This included the development status of the Rapid Transit System (RTS) Link and the high-speed rail (HSR) projects, as well as the implementation of the Periodic Commuting Arrangement (PCA) and the Reciprocal Green Lane (RGL) travel schemes at the Johor Causeway, he said.

“We also discussed efforts to boost the state economy post-Covid-19, ” Dr Wee said in a Facebook post. Dr Wee said they also spoke about the current political scenario “and I have given the Mentri Besar my fullest support to his leadership in maintaining political stability as well as to improve the socioeconomy of the people”.
