Shafie welcomes High Court decision, says it safeguards Sabah constitution


KOTA KINABALU: Caretaker Chief Minister Datuk Seri Mohd Shafie Apdal (pic) has welcomed the High Court's decision to strike out an attempt by 33 assemblymen led by Tan Sri Musa Aman to question the governor’s decision to dissolve the assembly.

“It is a victory to protect the constitutional powers of the TYT (Tuan Yang Terutama) under the state constitution, ” he told reporters after launching the ground breaking ceremony for Dataran Sepanggart here on Friday (Aug 21).
