Littering of face masks reflects Malaysian attitude towards cleanliness

Improper disposal of face masks in Malaysia has caused much concern that it may pose environmental and health risks.

One concerned citizen suggested that the government compound those who litter, while in Penang, efforts are ongoing to encourage wearing reusable face masks.
