King, queen express condolences over former national footballer Krishnasamy's death


KUALA LUMPUR (Bernama): Yang di-Pertuan Agong Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah and the Raja Permaisuri Agong Tunku Hajah Azizah Aminah Maimunah Iskandariah expressed condolences to the family of former national footballer V. Krishnasamy who died Sunday (Aug 1).

In a statement via Istana Negara's Facebook page, Al-Sultan Abdullah also expressed sadness over the passing of the national football legend who had brought glory to the nation in the 1970s, and hoped his family members would remain calm as they go through this difficult time.
