Covid-19: Seven new cases, bringing total to 8,725, no new deaths

PETALING JAYA: Malaysia recorded seven new Covid-19 cases on Monday (July 13), bringing the total number of infections to 8,725 cases.

Six cases were imported cases, while one was a local transmission, the Health Ministry said in a Facebook post.

One case has been discharged in the last 24 hours, which means 8,520 patients or 97.65% have recovered from Covid-19 since the outbreak began.

There are currently 83 active cases or 0.95% of all cases being treated at the country’s health facilities.

Four patients are being treated at intensive care units (ICU) with three of them on ventilator support.

There were no additional deaths from Covid-19, with the death toll remaining at 122, or 1.4% of all cases.
