Billion-ringgit flood mitigation project in Kelantan to be completed by April 2022, says Tuan Ibrahim


PETALING JAYA: The first phase of the RM1.029bil integrated flood mitigation project to address flood woes in Rantau Panjang, Pasir Mas and the banks of Sungai Golok in Kelantan would be completed by April 2022, says Datuk Tuan Ibrahim Tuan Man.

The Environment and Water Minister said the first phase involves the construction of bunds along Sungai Golok (26km), Sg Mentua (8km) and Sg Lemal Lanchang (19km), and construction of a floodgate at Kuala Jambu, at a cost of RM300mil.
