PETALING JAYA: The government will allow ministries and agencies to conduct face-to-face interviews for the intake of new staff, says Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri.
The Senior Minister (Security) said that the Public Services Commission (SPA) will come up with the standard operating procedures (SOP) for this.
However, he said the move would have to be approved by the Ministry of Health, the National Security Council (NSC) and the Prime Minister’s Department.
“SOP, which has been approved, will be used by the ministries and agencies in conducting the interviews, ” Ismail said during a press conference on updates of the Covid-19 situation on Wednesday (June 17).
Previously, the government did not allow face-to-face interviews, saying that it could only be done online or via tele-conferencing.
