PETALING JAYA: Dexamethasone should only be used on severe Covid-19 patients, says Datuk Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah.
The Health director-general said clinical trials have shown that dexamethasone is useful for Covid-19 advance cases, notably those in category four or five, but not for category one or two.
