Govt enhancing border security

PUTRAJAYA: The government is committed towards strengthening security at the country’s borders nationwide through Ops Benteng, aimed at preventing the entry of illegal immigrants during the recovery movement control order (MCO).

Senior Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob said authorities were tightening security at entry points nationwide, especially at “lorong tikus” (illegal routes).
