HONG KONG action star Jackie Chan is among the 2,605 artistes who support China’s national security law for Hong Kong, Sin Chew Daily reported.

Others included singer Alan Tam, veteran star Liza Wang, and actors Jordan Chan and Eric Tsang.

The list of celebrities supporting the legislation had led to much discussion among netizens.

Some of them wondered why the “Four Heavenly Kings” of Hong Kong – Jacky Cheung, Andy Lau, Aaron Kwok and Leon Lai – were not in the list.

China’s National People’s Congress approved the law on May 28.

Sin Chew Daily reported that since its launch, a person in charge of the studio said he had had quite a lot of business from customers.

“Part of the mask is made of cotton and can be washed, ” he said.

> Actors Kenneth Ma and Lawrence Ng, cast members of the Hong Kong drama Flying Tiger 2, said they were asked by an actress for a one night stand while filming in China, China Press reported.

They made the revelation during a talk show called Tiger’s Talk, saying that the actress provided them her room number.

Ng said he heard all male crew members of the production team also got the same “offer”.

“Of course, I would not go. I was even thinking of lodging a police report, ” he said.
