Shafie confirms he sent letter seeking motion of confidence for Dr M

KOTA KINABALU: Semporna MP Datuk Seri Mohd Shafie Apdal first played coy then confirmed he had sent a letter to the Dewan Rakyat Speaker seeking a motion of confidence in former prime minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad.

The Parti Warisan Sabah president only said “ada la itu (it is there)” when asked by reporters in Sandakan if he had written a letter to Tan Sri Mohamad Ariff Yusof to table the motion to show Dr Mahathir had majority support in Parliament, for when it convenes on May 18.
