Bank of China donates RM300,000 to Health Ministry's Covid-19 fund

PUTRAJAYA: The Bank of China has donated RM300,000 to the Health Ministry to support its fight against Covid-19.

Bank of China (Malaysia) chief executive officer Zhang Min handed the cheque over to Health MinisterDatuk Seri Dr Adham Baba in a brief ceremony at the Ministry headquarters here on Friday (May 1).

The donation will go to the Ministry's Covid-19 Fund.

China's ambassador to Malaysia Bai Tian witnessed the event.

On Thursday (April 30), Geely Group (DRB-Hicom) donated RM5.5mil worth of equipment including face masks, personal protective equipment (PPE) and ventilators.
