Deputy Health Minister, Perak exco member expected to be charged with breaching MCO

IPOH: Deputy Health Minister Datuk Dr Noor Azmi Ghazali and Perak executive council member Datuk Razman Zakaria are expected to be charged with breaching the movement control order (MCO) on Tuesday (April 28).

Both, who were pictured having a meal at a tahfiz in Lenggong on April 18, are expected to be charged at the Gerik Magistrate's Court.

When asked for confirmation, Perak police chief Comm Datuk Razarudin Husain replied via WhatsApp: "Just wait at the Gerik Court tomorrow (Tuesday)."

It was reported that Dr Noor Azmi and Razman were photographed having a meal with a group of people at the tahfiz.

The photos were uploaded on Dr Noor Azmi's Facebook page, which were later deleted after getting flak from netizens.

Attempts to get Razman and Dr Noor Azmi for comments failed.
