Covid-19: EPF withdrawals allowed for those age below 55, RM630mil more in allocations


PUTRAJAYA: The Prime Minister has announced Malaysians below the age of 55 will be allowed to withdraw RM500 per month from their Employees Provident Fund (EPF) saving for 12 months to ease their financial burdens caused by Covid-19.

Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin also announced RM630mil more in allocations to help combat the disease – RM500mil to the Health Ministry and RM130mil to state governments.
