Fuel prices March 7-13: Down across the board

PETALING JAYA: Fuel prices are set to go down across the board from March 7 to 13.

The Finance Ministry in a statement on Friday (March 6) said that the price of RON97 will be priced at RM2.19 per litre, down 21 sen from RM2.40 per litre previously.

The price of RON95 will be reduced by 19 sen from RM2.08 per litre to RM1.89 per litre

The price of diesel, meanwhile, will decrease by 17 sen from RM2.13 per litre to RM1.96 per litre.

The weekly fuel pricing mechanism was reintroduced on Jan 5 last year under the Automatic Pricing Mechanism (APM).

Under this system, fuel prices are announced every Friday and remain in force for one week.
