BN, PAS back Muhyiddin as 8th PM (updated)


PETALING JAYA: Barisan Nasional and PAS will throw their weight to nominate Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (Bersatu) president Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin as the eighth Prime Minister.

A total of 60 MPs from the parties have thrown their support behind the Pagoh MP, said official statements from Barisan and Muafakat Nasional on Friday (Feb 28).
