131 MPs attend dinner at hotel


PETALING JAYA: A total of 131 MPs from Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia, PKR, Barisan Nasional and PAS gathered at Sheraton Petaling Jaya Hotel for a major dinner following an audience that several of the parties’ leaders had with the Yang di-Pertuan Agong.

Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad, who is Bersatu chairman, was not present.

The backdrop of the dinner showed it to be in celebration of muafakat (consensus) by the MPs.
