Local airlines allow full refund or travel date change

PETALING JAYA: In light of the novel coronavirus outbreak, all Malaysian airline companies are allowing passengers to defer their flights to China without penalty, while those who cancel will get a full refund. However, the change of dates or refunds is only available for bookings to and from China.

Even as AirAsia flights to and from Wuhan remain suspended until Feb 29, the company has extended its period for a full refund for those with flight bookings to and from other parts in China, Hong Kong and Macau. That means passengers scheduled to fly to and from these places can change to a different flight without paying a fee until March 1.
