MyKAS and PSS are different documents, NRD clarifies

KOTA KINABALU: The National Registration Department (NRD) has clarified that a special identity card for Malaysian-born “stateless” people has nothing to do with the proposed Sabah Temporary Pass or Pas Sementara Sabah (PSS) for refugees.

The NRD statement came after a Facebook user, James Stephen, posted on Dec 21 a holder of the Kad Pengenalan Pemastautin Sementara (MyKAS) claiming that the department had already started issuing PSS card to foreigners.
