Alleycats bassist Frank Ong dies of lung cancer

KUALA LUMPUR: Frank Ong (pic), the bassist from the band Alleycats, passed away yesterday morning after suffering from stage four lung cancer.

Ong, 64, who had converted to Islam and went by the name of Abdul Rashid Abdullah, was buried at the Tanah Perkuburan Islam, Raudhatul Sakinah, Gombak, at 2.30pm the same day.
