IPOH: A housewife and her husband have been charged with human trafficking involving an Indonesian woman.
J. Jayamalar, 36, was charged under Section 13 of the Anti-Trafficking in Persons and Anti-Smuggling Migrants Act for trafficking the 32-year-old victim for labour by using force while her husband V. Chandru, 35, was charged with Section 12 of the Act for exploiting the victim for labour.
