Buzzkill: RM1.01mil worth of smuggled alcoholic drinks seized

ALOR SETAR: The Customs Department successfully foiled an attempt to smuggle in 100,512 cans of alcoholic beverages of various brand worth RM1.01mil including tax, after it seized two containers at North Port in Port Klang last Thursday (Oct 10).

Kedah Customs Department director Datuk Johari Alifiah said the containers were confiscated after customs officers found contraband in the containers.
