Almost 3,000 taxi drivers in FT have benefited from social security payments


KUALA LUMPUR: A total of 2,926 taxi drivers in the Federal Territories have benefited from more than RM200,000 contribution by Yayasan Wilayah Persekutuan (YWP) to the Self-Employment Social Security Scheme (SEEIS).

Federal Territories Minister Khalid Abdul Samad said YWP had collaborated with both Socso and the Land Public Transport Agency (Apad) to implement the programme to help taxi drivers contribute to Socso.
