Road rage incident leads to death of 29-year-old

KAJANG: A fight following a road accident inadvertently led to the death of a 29-year old man, and the police classifying the case as murder.

The victim and the suspect had allegedly gotten into a road accident along the Plus Highway near Bandar Baru Bangi at around 1.40pm Saturday (Aug 10).

An argument sparked, which then led to a scuffle between the deceased and the suspect, who is in his 40s.

"The victim was then sent to the hospital and was pronounced dead soon after. We have arrested the suspect and his wife for further investigations, " said Kajang OCPD Asst Comm Ahmad Dzaffir Mohd Yussof in a statement issued Saturday.

The cause of death has yet to be ascertained, pending a report from the post-mortem.
