Clarify date of new electoral boundaries with 13 new state seats, says SAPP

KOTA KINABALU: Sabah Progressive Party (SAPP) has called on the Sabah Legislative Assembly and the Election Commission (EC) to publicly clarify the date for the new electoral boundaries, following the addition of 13 new seats in the state.

In a statement on Thursday (July 18), the opposition party president Datuk Yong Teck Lee said they should inform elected representatives and local government officers that the boundaries for the re-delineation would only come into effect upon the dissolution of the current legislative assembly.
