Briyani restaurant shuttered two weeks after rat droppings, dead lizard find


GEORGE TOWN: A famous nasi briyani restaurant on Lebuh Chulia has been ordered to close for two weeks by the Health Department after rat droppings and dead lizards were found in the kitchen.

Health inspectors on Wednesday (July 10) found the area where food was being prepared to be unsanitary.
