Foreign workers buried in landslide did not have permits


GEORGE TOWN: The four victims who were buried alive in a freak landslide at a resort along Jalan Batu Ferringhi did not have legal documents with them, says George Town OCPD, Asst Comm Che Zaimani Che Awang.

ACP Che Zaimani said the victims - Maung Htwe, 38, Ong (age unknown), Nai Cho Inn, 49, and another still unidentified, did not have permits with them.
