CYBERJAYA: The Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) has formed a dedicated group within its cybercrime committee together with the police to investigate the viral sex video implicating a minister.Its chairman Al-Ishsal Ishak said the investigation was a top priority.
The committee is made up of an executive group, co-headed by Al-Ishsal, and a technical group which has been investigating the video since receiving a report on Tuesday.
He said as the matter was still under investigation, details were confidential.
Asked about the video being released in parts, Al-Ishsal said any member of the public could feel that it was planned and not accidental.
MCMC had also acted to block sites showing the video since Tuesday.
Economic Affairs Minister Datuk Seri Azmin Ali has denied that he was one of the men featured in the sex videos.
