Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad is awaiting a response from the bank and seeks to recoup funds believed to be lost through 1MDB.

TOKYO (Bernama): Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad has arrived at Tokyo’s Haneda International Airport on Wednesday (May 29) for a three-day working visit to Japan.

Dr Mahathir is also scheduled to attend the 25th International Conference on The Future of Asia, or Nikkei Conference.
