Saifuddin: We hope Myanmar govt will improve press freedom


PETALING JAYA: Malaysia hopes that the government of Myanmar will improve the safety of journalists and press freedom in the country, says Foreign Minister Datuk Saifuddin Abdullah (pic).

"As a friend in Asean, Malaysia hopes the Government of Myanmar will spare no effort to improve the safety of journalists and press freedom in the country," Saifuddin said in a statement on Wednesday (April 24).
