KAJANG: A 30-year-old man has been arrested for allegedly raping, sodomising and assaulting his sister-in-law.Kajang OCPD Asst Comm Ahmad Dzaffir Mohd Yussof said doctors who examined the 18-year-old victim, who lived with her sister and the suspect, found that she was also eight months’ pregnant.
He said the victim claimed the suspect started raping her two years ago.
“If she fought back, the suspect would assault her,” he said.
He last raped her twice and sodomised her on March 19, he added.
ACP Ahmad Dzaffir said the victim also alleged the suspect used a belt to whip her back, if she tried to resist.
The victim also claimed her own sister would scold her if she did not give in to his demands, he said.
“The suspect had also recorded one of the rape incidents and threatened to show it to her future husband if she went to the police,” he said.
The suspect has been remanded until March 29 for investigation.
