DOE employee rushed to hospital after chemical sample leaks

JOHOR BARU: An Environment Department (DOE) employee was rushed to hospital after a chemical sample leaked in the department's lab at Jalan Pertama, Pusat Perdagangan Utama here Thursday (March 21).

State Fire and Rescue Department Hazmat Unit senior officer Mohd Hairinizam Mostapa said that the victim is believed to have been working at the time of the incident and was brought to hospital by a member of the public.
