Hong Kong actor Dicky Cheung (pic) revealed that he was abused by his father when he was young to the extent that he almost died from suffocation, China Press reported.

He recounted the experience when his father hit and kicked him until he could not breathe during a sharing session at a school in Hong Kong.

The nightmare only ended when he was 14 years old as his parents filed for a divorce.

Meanwhile, Cheung also said he pretended that he did not bring his wallet while dining at a restaurant as he had irregular income when he first started acting.

Once he became the lead actor, he quickly repaid all the debts.

> Paris Jackson, daughter of pop star Michael Jackson, denied reports that she attempted to slit her wrist last Saturday, China Press reported.

It reported that she was released from hospital after the alleged attempted suicide.

Paris, who is said to be under the care of a group of doctors, is allegedly coping with depression and anxiety.

It was also believed that Paris’ injury stemmed from HBO documentary Leaving Neverland as her emotions were disturbed.

The documentary had accused her father, who died 10 years ago, of sexually abusing children.
