Dr Wee: DAP leaders’ remarks uncalled for, could be detrimental to harmony

PETALING JAYA: MCA president Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong (pic) has called out to Attorney General Tommy Thomas over recent remarks made by two DAP leaders that were deemed detrimental to racial harmony.

The Ayer Hitam MP cited Mengkibol assemblyman Chew Chong Sin’s remarks, qouted by news portal Malaysiakini on Friday (March 15), that claimed the massacre at two mosques in Christchurch, New Zealand, should serve as a lesson for Malaysia on the need to curb extremism.
