Despair turns to relief for one family as news filters back from New Zealand

GEORGE TOWN: A solemn atmosphere turned to relief as 65-year-old Rokiah Mohammad received news that her son, Rahimi Ahmad, who was involved in the Christchurch shooting in New Zealand, is now safe and sound.

Rahimi, 39, who is from Kampung Binjai in Bayan Lepas here, was among the Muslims who were attacked when performing their prayers at the Al Noor Mosque in Christchurch, New Zealand.
