JPJ denies ruckus happened at any of its offices

PETALING JAYA: The Road Transport Department (JPJ) has said that a viral video of a man ranting about poor service at what looks like a government agency did not occur in any of its offices.

In a series of tweets, JPJ noted that it was aware of the viral video clip, which shows a man shouting at an officer working behind in a counter.

"JPJ views this matter seriously. Upon further investigation, it was found that this incident did not happen in any JPJ premises or office as alleged," it added.

JPJ also reminded its staff to continuously improve their quality of service so it would be easier for the people rakyat to deal with the Department and to receive proper treatment.

In video clip, which went viral on Wednesday (Feb 27), the man loses his cool and starts shouting at the officer, alleging that he had waited for four hours at the said office.

He proceeded to berate other staff at the counter.

However, there is no mention of when or where the incident took place, but several individuals claimed it occurred at a JPJ office.
