Already endangered, green turtle found dead with intestines missing

LABUAN (Bernama): A green sea turtle was found dead on Pohon Batu beach here, with some of its intestines taken out from its abdomen.

The species, which is the most endangered and threatened of all sea turtles, was found by a villager on Friday (Feb 8) morning, and it was subsequently reported to the Fisheries Department at 2.15pm the same day.
