KOTA KINABALU: Sabah marine police recorded its largest contraband seizure worth RM8.3mil, ironically on land rather than out at sea.
The haul of alcohol, cigarettes and fireworks was seized from a makeshift warehouse at Kampung Bontoi in Tamparuli at the foothills of Mount Kinabalu, about 40km from the state capital.
