SHAH ALAM: Selangor police will not be stepping up security in the state during Thaipusam despite the recent violence over the Seafield Sri Maha Mariamman temple issue.
State police chief Comm Datuk Mazlan Mansor said that the situation was under control in the area around the temple as well as the state as a whole.
