Youth groups demand for Waytha to step down

KUALA LUMPUR: The Malaysian Youth Council (MYC) has joined other groups in calling for the resignation of P. Waytha Moorthy, following the death of firefighter Muhammad Adib Mohd Kassim. 

Its president Jufitri Joha said Waytha had failed in his duties as the National Unity and Social Well-being Minister when he slammed authorities for their slow response to the Nov 26 riot at the Sri Maha Mariamman temple in Subang Jaya.
