Japanese tourist rescued from Mt Mulu and airlifted to Miri Hospital

MIRI: The Sarawak Fire and Rescue Department's Air Wing unit has successfully rescued a Japanese tourist who was injured while climbing Mount Mulu on Saturday (Dec 15) night.

Miri Fire and Rescue chief Supt Law Poh Kiong said that the second mission to rescue 25-year-old Akihiro Sado took off from Mulu airport at 7.10am on Tuesday (Dec 18) morning and was able to rescue him at about 8am.
